About 10 years ago, I was at the top of my career.  In fact one of the top three event producers in Canada.  Business was booming and I was the President an International Association.

I was definitely caught in all the busy-ness of life.  I loved my work, my clients, and every part of this industry.  Then I bumped into reality, of my own life’s unplanned events.  I was whisked off to the hospital in an ambulance without knowing what was happening. The good news it is not what the paramedics thought, as they were focused on whether or not I was having a stroke. It ended up I had Bells Palsy directly related to my nervous system. I now had new decisions to make for my health, my career, and my family. These decisions would have me create a whole new life plan. One where I would work only three days a week, I took on cleaning my gut and putting in new health plans, and surrendered to not having to do it all.

Along the way on my life experiences I came across , Louise Hay.  Louise wrote a little book called “You Can Heal Your Life”.  What did this have to do with my career?  Well it actually became a key message that in life we cannot choose our life events, we can however choose our experience to our life events.

Once I got this clear, that every event in my life is my creation and choice, just the same as I did for my clients, it became my inspiration to write and share my life experience.  In fact, I wrote my first book “Life is a Special Event”, my little healing book that inspires all my decisions.

If I had one wish, it would be that someone would have taught me all that I learned two decades earlier..
